App records stored on your device
The GigClaim app is designed around local-first recordkeeping. Trips, work sessions, work-session location samples, mileage totals, expenses, earnings, vehicle setup, home and work location settings, tax assumptions, exports, backups, and tracking diagnostics are stored locally on your device unless you export, back up, share, import, or submit them yourself.
Location and address lookup
GigClaim uses location only for active work-session mileage tracking that you start in the app. Background location is optional and is used only during an active work session so mileage can continue when your phone is locked or you switch apps. Home-address search, address autocomplete, geocoding, and current-location lookup may use Apple location and search services to help you set a home base.
Website forms and support
Website contact, support, and launch-list forms may collect information you choose to submit, such as name, email address, driver type, topic, and message details. Form submissions may be stored in Cloudflare-hosted form storage and related hosting services so MarCas Holding LLC can respond to support requests and launch-list messages. Website forms do not collect GPS routes, mileage logs, tax records, or app export files unless you choose to include those details in a message.
What not to submit through website forms
Do not submit Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, bank account numbers, platform passwords, full tax returns, or sensitive tax documents through website forms.
Subscriptions and Apple services
GigClaim subscriptions are handled by Apple through App Store subscriptions and StoreKit. Apple manages payment processing, renewal, cancellation, billing, and restore flows. GigClaim uses verified StoreKit entitlement information to determine whether app access is active.
Exports and backups
You can export reports, CSV files, JSON files, or backups from the app. Exported files may contain sensitive trip, location, income, expense, vehicle, home/work location, and tax setup records. You choose whether to share those files, and the destination you choose controls them after export.
No advertising tracking
The current app and website are not designed to use advertising trackers or sell personal data. If analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, support upload, or another data-sharing feature is added later, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before release.
Retention and deletion
Local app records remain on your device until you delete them, delete all data in Settings, or remove the app. Website support and launch-list messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, launch communications, legal, security, and business records. To request deletion of website form or support records, email [email protected].
Children
GigClaim is not directed to children under 13. Do not use website forms to submit information about a child.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the app, website, or service providers change. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes materially.
